About the Exhibition:

The fi nal exhibition of the year at Ganzo, the creative learning lab of Florence University of the Arts, is dedicated to a reflection on “The Force of Words”, the theme around which all of this semester’s fi nal student events are centered. In this exhibit, students analyze the force of words in visual communication, through artwork and text, uncovering the “power” of words in all its different aspects and fi elds: fi ne art, communication, politics, journalism, literature, life.

Through the use of various mediums in the making of “conceptual art” projects, the students in FUA’s School of Fine Arts explore the way that media shocks or even merely communicates different meanings and feelings. Following different paths and interpreting the theme in their own way, each course contributed to the fi nal result of a unique collection of visual interpretations of “The Force of Words”.

Students from the following courses participated in this exhibit: Ceramics, Florence Sketchbook, Foundation Drawing, Mixed Media, Watercolor and Tempera Techniques, and Words, Painting and Emotions.
